DYMAN Project Featured at XII Framework Program Conference in Oviedo

The DYMAN project introduces advanced adsorption chillers and two-phase cooling systems for efficient thermal management and aims to optimize high-performance computing by recovering 50% of processor waste heat and combining sorption heat pumps with advanced evaporators and condensers for improved energy efficiency.

This innovate project was selected for the poster exhibition during the XII Framework Program Conference, which took place in Oviedo, Spain, on November 28. The event was organized by the CDTI in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the European Commission, the Oviedo City Council, and Sekuens, the Asturian Agency for Science, Business Competitiveness, and Innovation.

The conference aimed to evaluate the impact of Horizon Europe, highlighting its major achievements and initiatives to date. It also assessed Spain’s participation in the program, offering insights to enhance the positioning and strategies of Spanish entities in European research and innovation projects.

A key focus of the event was exploring the next Research and Innovation Framework Program of the European Union for 2028-2034, providing attendees with valuable perspectives on its future direction.

In addition to the conference sessions, attendees benefitted from personalized advice on Horizon Europe and opportunities for networking and collaboration through one-on-one meetings with other participants.

One of the highlights of the event was the poster exhibition, featuring projects coordinated by Spanish organizations that have secured funding through Horizon Europe. The DYMAN project, coordinated by IDP Ingeniería y Arquitectura Iberia SL and with Comet Global Innovation SL, Cibelios Ingeniería SL, Energy Aware Solutions SL and Barcelona Supercomputing Center as Spanish partners, was proud to be part of this showcase, emphasizing its contributions to innovation and European research efforts in the field of efficient thermal management.
